ABSTRACT

Objective. Development of approaches to creating a reliable and economically viable source of primary information, which provides the ability in a planned and current mode to solve the problems of calculating energy balances in any detail, calculating the optimal structure of production, procurement and consumption of fuel and energy, assess their real losses, plan energy efficiency and energy saving measures.

The research methodology consists in creating a unified hardware and software base for a branched tree-like network of microprocessor-based energy meters.

Findings. A generalized block diagram of the complex is proposed. To implement the functions of monitoring energy flows, the complex automatically collects information on the specific and current consumption of electrical energy, various gases, vapors, compressed air, water and other liquids used or produced in technological processes.

Practical meaning. The presented data on an innovative project of an energy monitoring system, considered the principles and an example of building a system for monitoring energy flows, including gases, compressed air, liquids, steam, electricity.
