ABSTRACT
The purpose is to find opportunities to ensure the required level of redundancy of pumps at the main drainage of mines.
Research methods: when the goal is achieved, the number of simultaneously operating pumps at the main drain will be reduced, which will reduce the impact of their supply deficit and will reduce the total number of pumps involved. A prerequisite for the possible implementation of such a division of the inflow is that often in the reservoir of the main drain is a significant amount of water by other installations in the presence of the technical possibility to pump water directly to the surface.
Research results. The possibility of reducing the working group of pumps of the main drainage of a multi-water mine by dividing the total inflow pumped from the horizon between the two installations is analyzed.
Scientific novelty The separation of the total inflow pumped from the horizon of a multi-water shaft reduces the impact of the supply deficit of pumps running in parallel and can provide the required level of redundancy of the main drainage pumps without increasing their number and without replacing them.
Practical meaning. It is shown that the sequential switching on of pumps can help to reduce the number of pumps running on the horizon.
Keywords: aquifer mine, main pumping, backuping of pumps
